L L L ORDINANCE NO. An Ordinance relating to a uniform building bode, build ing code for one and two family dwellings, building permits and a fee structure for the issuance of building permits within the County of Scott, Commonwealth of Kentucky, for the health, safety, welfare and convenience of the inhabitants of Scott County, Kentucky. BE IT ORDAINED by the Fiscal Court of the County of Scott, Commonwealth of Kentucky, as follows: ARTICLE I DEFINITIONS. The words and phrases utilized in this article shall be defined the same as those contained in KRS 198B.010 and those contained in the complete text of CABO One and Two Family Dwellings, 1983 Edition, with 1984 and 1985 Supplements attached. ARTICLE II ENACTMENT AND ADOPTION OF UNIFORM BUILDING CODE AND CABO, ONE AND TWO FAMILY DWELLINGS, 1983 EDITIONS, 1984 and 1985 SUPPLEMENTS. The Scott Fiscal Court hereby adopts by reference the Uniform Building Code as contained in KRS 198B.010 through 198B.270, and Krs 198B.990(1) and CABO One and Two Family Dwelling Code, 1983 Edition with 1984 and 1985 Supple ments attached, which codes shall be in full force and effect in Scott County, Kentucky, as if set out in full herein. Adoption of both codes shall include any and all further re visions of such. ARTICLE III BUILDING PERMITS. All persons prior to commencement of construction and/or excavation shall acquire a building permit from the Scott County Department of Building Codes Enforcement (Building Inspector's Office). ARTICLE IV BUILDING PERMIT FEES. The Building Inspector shall charge a fee for each such permit issued, at such rate as set
